Milwaukee authorities are identifying the 60-year-old man killed in a weekend hit-and-run crash on the city’s south side.
Prosecutors identified the victim as Moises Vazquez, who died at the scene early Sunday morning after being struck by an SUV on West National Avenue.
Investigators used surveillance footage to locate the vehicle and arrested 31-year-old Sergio Lee Pedroza, who police say appeared intoxicated during the traffic stop.
Pedroza now faces charges of hit-and-run involving death and homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle with a prior conviction.
