The Manitowoc Warming Shelter is inviting the public out to celebrate and dedicate its new location ahead of the winter season.
The Warming Shelter will be located inside St. Paul Lutheran Church at 2601 South 10th Street this year, after previously welcoming unhoused individuals at the Lakeshore CAP Offices and at First Presbyterian Church.
They will celebrate the beginning of their 4th season by welcoming guests and volunteers to the church at 2:00 p.m. on November 8th for a blessing of the shelter ceremony.
Guests will also have the opportunity to get a sneak peek of what the Shelter will look like this season.
Those who would like to donate to the shelter or volunteer are encouraged to visit TheNeighborhood920.org.
