A local nonprofit is seeking volunteers for the holidays.
The Sheboygan County Food Bank has shared that they are in need of volunteers to aid with donations during the annual Making Spirits Bright Holiday Lights Show and the Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk.
The Hunger Run/Walk will be a one-day event held on November 21st, while the Holiday Lights Show will be open at Evergreen Park between November 27th and December 31st.
Volunteers are essential to the Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk and are responsible for packet pickup, gear check, shuttle bus stops, cleanup, and more.
Other volunteers will be tasked with picking up one of the Food Bank trucks, driving to Evergreen Park, helping to fill grocery carts with donated food, and bringing the donations back to the Food Bank throughout December.
However, drivers are required to have a valid driver’s license.
