One of Sheboygan’s most beloved attractions is nearing its seasonal closure.
The Sheboygan County Interfaith Organization’s (SCIO) Summer Farmers Market has entered its final week with two more chances to attend this week.
Today (October 28th), the farmers market will run from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Fountain Park and then again for the final time this year on Saturday (October 31st) during the same hours.
Those looking to support local farmers, crafters, and food producers are encouraged to attend.
As always, SCIO matches $20 in EBT purchases each market day, allowing customers to spend $20 on an EBT card and receive an extra $20 to spend on fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables.
While the Summer Farmers Market at Fountain Park will be ending this week, SCIO will begin offering its Winter Farmers Market at First Congregational Church on Bluff Avenue on the first and third Saturdays every month between November and April, running from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
