The City of Two Rivers will be discussing a personnel issue tonight that may be related to the absence of the City Manager.
The City Council will be holding a work session meeting in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m., with the only item on the agenda being a closed session discussion regarding the “employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of a public employee” and for the “preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons; specifically: Management level employee performance and conduct.”
It was not explicitly stated who the person is they are referring to, but this comes at a time when City Manager Kyle Kordell has not been in City Hall in over two weeks.
Kordell announced earlier this month that he would be “spending some time away from City Hall to focus on his family and taking some time off.”
No additional information has ever been revealed regarding his time away despite our multiple attempts to contact city council members and Kordell himself.
