The La Crosse Police Department is ending its Flock Safety Camera contract.
The department says the decision follows growing concerns about the lack of policies and guardrails across other agencies that share access to the broader network.
Officials say despite the tool’s effectiveness locally, continuing the partnership poses an unacceptable risk to their core values.
