The Two Rivers Historical Society is recognizing someone who’s completed the entire Ice Age Trail.
As part of their Triannual Membership Meeting tomorrow (today) (October 25th) at the Washington House Museum’s Grand Ballroom, Nancy Jo LeClair will provide a free presentation about her journey through 30 Wisconsin counties.
A social hour with refreshments begins at 1:00 p.m., followed by a brief business report from the Two Rivers Historical Society.
The presentation with LeClair begins at 2:10 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session at 2:45 p.m.
For Nancy Jo, the historical society says hiking the Ice Age Trail was more than reaching the end of a long-distance route, but was a journey measured in miles, determination, memories, changing landscapes, and a healing heart.
