To recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Emplify Health has lit up its Skywalk for the Purple Porch Project.
The Webster Avenue Skywalk at Emplify Health by Bellin Green Bay Hospital will be lit up throughout the month of October with purple lights.
Emplify Health held a news conference on October 19th with Golden House, spotlighting the initiative.
The Purple Porch Project is a national initiative started locally by Golden House, a safe place for domestic violence survivors to go.
The project represents hope, solidarity, and support for survivors, and encourages community members to stand together against domestic violence.
For those suffering through domestic violence, help is always available through Emplify Health, Golden House, or a 24/7 free phone service at 920-212-SAFE.
