Two men have been charged with murder in the death of a 16-year-old in Two Rivers.
26-year-old Dominic Pilgreen of Oconomowoc and 15-year-old Nathan Reichard of Two Rivers are both facing charges of 1st-degree intentional homicide and four other charges each in the death of Payton Vertz.
Pilgreen’s other charges include physical abuse of a child, hiding a corpse, theft from a person or corpse, and false imprisonment.
Reichard, who’s being charged as an adult, faces other charges including false imprisonment, hiding a corpse, substantial battery, and theft from a person or corpse.
Payton’s body was found in Seagull Marina earlier this week.
What happened to the teen is not yet known as a criminal complaint has been sealed by Manitowoc County Judge Anthony Lambrecht.
Two River Police Chief Ben Meinnert adds that a benefit for Payton’s family will be held on November 14th at the Community House from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m.
A GoFundMe page has also been set up for Payton’s family to help with funeral costs.
