Manitowoc Public Utilities is reminding residents that they can get help winterizing their homes before the cold weather settles in.
The State of Wisconsin’s Weatherization Assistance Program helps homeowners and renters reduce energy use, which can lower utility bills.
Weatherization assistance is available through the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP).
The services are provided at no charge for qualifying homeowners, or at 15% of the cost for landlords of qualifying tenants.
