A new group of artists will be bridging the gap between the John Michael Kohler Arts Center (JMKAC) and the Kohler Company next year.
JMKAC and Kohler have announced the 2027 Arts/Industry Artists-in-Residence, featuring a cohort of 12 artists from different backgrounds.
Cohort one will include Emily Endo, Raul De Lara, Amy Yoes, and Erin Jane Nelson, who will serve as artists-in-residence from January 25th through April 30th.
Then, from May 17th to August 20th, Esther Elia, Christina Forrer, Jiha Moon, and Tyanna Buie will come to town.
Rounding out the year will be cohort three, featuring artists Ben Gould, Gina Michaels, Chenlu Hou, and Jude Griebel.
The Arts/Industry residency allows artists from around the world to experiment with industrial materials and techniques at the Kohler Co. factory, working in collaboration with skilled manufacturers to produce new works in cast ceramic, iron, and brass.
