Authorities are looking for the people responsible for a hit-and-run at an Appleton restaurant.
The Appleton Police Department released security camera footage that captured a white truck towing a flatbed trailer carrying a white car entering the drive-thru of an unspecified restaurant.
The cab pulled ahead of the order screen, and a second individual, who was standing on the trailer, placed their order.
When the truck pulled forward, the driver of the truck failed to take the turn wide enough, and the trailer ran over the yellow safety pole next to the menu screen.
The driver then fled the scene. Anyone with any information is encouraged to call the Appleton Police Department at 920-832-5500 or submit a tip by emailing APDTips@AppletonWI.org.
