Two Manitowoc schools opened up their boys soccer postseason action with very different results.
Roncalli cruised to a 10-0 win over Gresham/Bowler in the Division 4 Regional Quarterfinals.
The Jets will face a much stiffer opponent in the semifinals, as they are set to travel to Sturgeon Bay to face the #2-seeded Clippers tomorrow night.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Manitowoc Lincoln was in the Milwaukee area to take on #2 Brookfield East.
The Spartans controlled the matchup bell to bell, earning an 8-0 win, ending the Ships’ postseason dreams.
Kiel, New Holstein/Brillion, and several Sheboygan County teams are still alive and will play their Regional Semifinal matches tomorrow.
