Manitowoc’s mayor is updating residents on the installation of new permanent stop signs at different intersections.
Mayor Justin Nickels explains that stop signs have been placed on S. 12th Street on Grand, Green, Philippen, and Manila Streets, as well as at S. 14th Street and Wisconsin Avenue.
Next, temporary stop signs will be installed along certain streets intersecting with Madison Street, including South 11th, 13th, 15th, 18th, and 19th Street.
The temporary stop signs will be installed today, with permanent stop signs coming on November 9th.
The last phase of the project won’t happen until November, but will take place at multiple intersections of Columbus Street and Park Street.
