Things are getting cheesy at a local brewery this weekend.
3 Sheeps Brewing in Sheboygan will host its second annual National Cheese Curd Day tomorrow (October 17th) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Throughout the day, Parker John’s will be frying up cheese curds for all to enjoy while other local establishments will compete to see who has the best dipping sauce around town.
Those in attendance will be the judges, with patrons encouraged to try all the sauces, vote on their favorites, and help crown the 2026 Cheese Curd Sauce Champion.
During the inaugural event last year, 230 pounds of cheese curds were consumed, but this year’s goal has been set at 240 pounds, or roughly one pound every minute for the event’s four-hour runtime.
3 Sheeps’ National Cheese Curd Day will also feature the crowning of the 2026 Curd King and Queen and some limited-edition cheesy brewery merch as well.
The event is free to attend, and more information can be found on the 3 Sheeps Brewing Facebook page.
