Manitowoc Lincoln Park Zoo is inviting families to have a howling good time this weekend.
Their annual Zoo Boo takes place tomorrow from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will feature a costume contest, games, animal enrichment demonstrations, and a safe trick-or-treating experience throughout the main loop of the zoo.
It will cost $1 per person at the entrance to the zoo with games being located behind the Education Center, with tickets available for 50 cents each.
The costume contest takes place near the playground throughout the event.
Zoo staff will photograph participants, and photos will be posted on the Manitowoc Lincoln Park Zoo’s Facebook page after the event.
For a $2 entry fee, contest participants can compete for a grant prize, which will be awarded to the costume photo receiving the most likes and comments.
The Lincoln Park Zoo will be open during its Zoo Boo from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Questions can be directed to the zoo at 920-683-4685.
