Only a few days remain to register for an event supporting the Manitowoc Police K9 unit.
The 3rd Annual Police Chase takes place on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at Silver Creek Park.
Participants can choose a four-mile run or a 1.5-mile dog walk. It costs $40 to walk or run.
Packet pickup and same-day registration will start at 8:00 a.m.
Walkers and runners will traverse city parks, grass and gravel trails, and a serene residential neighborhood overlooking Lake Michigan.
If you want to bring your four-legged friend, they must be vaccinated for rabies and remain on a leash.
Owners are also responsible for cleaning up after their dog.
More information about this year’s Manitowoc Police Chase can be found on the Manitowoc Police Department Facebook page.
