Sheboygan Police are investigating a series of south side garage burglaries.
The crimes have specifically taken place in the neighborhoods near Veterans Park, which is located at South 24th Street and Union Avenue.
The burglars have been forcing entry to garages in the area and stealing gasoline/fuel containers.
The Sheboygan Police Department is asking residents to increase lighting in low-lit areas like alleys and around garages and sheds, and to report suspicious behavior to police.
The Department also noted, “We are continuing to collect/review evidence, and neighbors will be seeing additional patrols in the area.”
