A former axe bar in Sheboygan may be getting new life in a different capacity.
At this week’s City Plan Commission meeting, Anthony Knapton submitted a conditional use permit (CUP) to operate Radry’s Golf & Social Club located at 1133 Indiana Avenue.
This is the former home of Longhouse Axe Bar, which closed its doors for good in March of last year.
Radry’s would be a “membership-based indoor golf and social club featuring golf simulators, coworking and lounge areas, a small art gallery and retail component, and space for member and community gatherings.”
Current investments in the project sit at approximately $85,000 and include work to transform the space from a former axe-throwing bar to feature two golf simulators.
The CUP will have to gain full approval from the Sheboygan Common Council in order to move forward.
