There are a pair of Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (October 14th).
Up first is the Public Works Committee, which will be in the County Board Room at 4:00 p.m.
After the public is given time to comment, the group will look over the public works and IT budget summaries.
They will also get updates on several ongoing capital projects and will view the report on the 2026 Manitowoc County Fair.
Then, at 5:00 p.m., the Public Safety Committee will convene in the Communication and Technology Building.
They will also give the public time to comment before holding a discussion on the 2027 budget.
Joining the group for the conversation will be the members of the Sheriff’s Office, the Coroner, the Clerk of Courts, Judges, the District Attorney, the Family Court Commissioner, the Register of Probate, and Emergency Management.
