A group in Sheboygan will be celebrating nearly 100 years in the community next month.
The Sheboygan Service Club will celebrate its 95th year at its annual charity gala on November 14th, with the Above & Beyond Children’s Museum named as the event’s main beneficiary.
Half of all proceeds raised at the event will support Above & Beyond’s new Lily Pad Landing, an exhibit dedicated to babies from birth to 18 months.
This year’s gala theme will be “Camp Cult Classics,” and will include cocktails, camp games, dinner, a live auction, music, and a show, all centered around raising money for the Children’s Museum and other local organizations as well.
On the continued partnership with Above & Beyond, Hayleigh Loose, president of the Sheboygan Service Club, noted, “We’re excited to help Above & Beyond Children’s Museum give the youngest kids in the county a space of their own.”
Cate Tinker, Above & Beyond’s Executive Director, added, “We are deeply grateful to the Sheboygan Service Club for choosing (us) as a beneficiary of this year’s gala. The first years of life are when the foundation for all future learning is built, and our new Lily Pad Landing baby exhibit will give our community’s youngest learners a space designed just for them.”
Tickets to the gala cost $100 and can be purchased online by visiting sscgala26.givesmart.com.
