The Lakeshore Humane Society is preparing to move to its new location in Two Rivers.
They will host a moving sale starting Friday (October 16th) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The sale gives the humane society a chance to clear out excess and unused supplies, allowing local pet owners to get some items for their furry friends.
It also makes it easier for the Lakeshore Humane Society to move in the future. Ground was broken earlier this year on the new humane society building on Columbus Street in Two Rivers.
The Chamber of Manitowoc County offered a tour of what’s been completed so far last week.
Lakeshore Humane Society Director Tina Nichols previously explained to Seehafernews.com that they’ve outgrown their current shelter in Manitowoc and cannot add an addition because of where they are.
