A part of the I-43 reconstruction project is expected to be done this week.
The Wisconsin DOT estimates that the work on the County PP overpass will be completed this week.
The contractor will also continue rumble strip, shouldering, guardrail, and pavement marking operations from Highway 28 to Highway 42, while also working on sign structures along westbound Highway 23 from County Road Y to Taylor Drive.
ROW fences will also be installed from Wilson Lima Road to Highway 32.
Additionally, all on- and off-ramps for Highway 23 will be closed from 8:00 Thursday night (October 16th) until 6:00 the next morning, and from 8:00 Friday night to 6:00 Saturday morning.
While an exact completion date is not known at this time, Mark Kantola from the DOT’s Northeast Region – Green Bay office has told us, “We are nearing the end.”
