A Milwaukee man is heading to prison for 30 years after pleading guilty to a deadly broad-daylight shooting.
A judge handed down the sentence this week for 42-year-old Linwood Craine in connection with the July 2025 homicide near Sixth and Hayes.
Police say Craine confronted a 67-year-old man before shooting him and fleeing into a nearby neighborhood.
Officers arrested Craine later that day inside a stranger’s garage, where they also recovered a nine-millimeter handgun.
