Senior Megan Lamers of the Roncalli/Two Rivers Girls’ tennis team has qualified for state for a fourth consecutive year.
Lamers punched her ticket to state yesterday (Thursday) by defeating Olivia Stout of Hartford 6-1, 6-1 at a Division One Sectional meet at Fox Cities Tennis and Racquet Club in Appleton.
Megan placed fourth overall, and she, along with all qualifiers, will find out their seed and when they’ll play their first match this weekend.
The WIAA State Individual Girls Tennis Tournament will take place Thursday (October 15th) through Saturday (October 17th) at the Nielsen Tennis Complex at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
