CASA of East Central Wisconsin is hosting an event to follow a child’s journey through the Child Welfare System.
The event, called the Pathway of Hope, takes place on Monday (October 12th) from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at their office on North 10th Street in Manitowoc.
Attendees will get the chance to select a child’s path before entering the Child Welfare System.
The person would be assigned a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), have an initial visit with an advocate, experience a permanency hearing, and then continue to work with an advocate to see if they can find permanency.
Kitzgarbo will have a food truck at the event to provide dinner, while sweet treats will be provided after guests finish their Pathway of Hope experience.
