A Manitowoc non-profit has welcomed a new member to its care team.
The Crossing of Manitowoc has named Michelle Anderson as its new Nurse Manager, which the organization says will help ensure “local women and families can continue to receive compassionate, life-affirming medical care and support.”
After initially pursuing pre-med undergrad with plans to become a physician, experiences in caregiving and the influence of the nurse who cared for her mother led her toward nursing.
At The Crossing, Michelle will oversee the Medical Clinic and help lead the continued delivery of services that have become an important part of the organization’s support for families in Manitowoc County.
These services include pregnancy testing and verification, limited OB ultrasounds, nurse consultations, STI testing and treatment, and compassionate support for women navigating pregnancy and parenthood.
