A 74-year-old man is recovering after a skid steer partially collapsed through a barn floor in the Town of Montrose.
Belleville firefighters and emergency personnel arrived at the Walter Road farm yesterday to find the driver trapped inside the cab above the basement area.
Technical rescue teams stabilized the damaged building and machinery before extricating the man in about thirty minutes.
Sugar River EMS transported the driver to a Madison hospital with minor injuries, while crews remained on scene to secure the structure.
