The Village of Harrison is seeking public input as it updates its traffic and vehicle ordinance.
The update includes local e-bike regulations developed with guidance from the League of Wisconsin Municipalities and designed to remain consistent with Wisconsin State Statutes.
The ordinance focuses on areas municipalities may regulate locally, such as where e-bikes may be operated, parking and storage considerations, and safe use on Village-controlled streets, sidewalks, trails, and other public spaces.
Village officials say the proposed new laws would support safe, practical mobility for residents of all ages while providing clear expectations for e-bike riders and protecting shared public spaces.
The proposed changes to the traffic and vehicle ordinance are available at Harrison.wi.gov.
