The man who shot and killed another man along I-41 in Brown County has been convicted.
19-year-old Ji-Gwe-Mko Layton was in court yesterday (September 30th), where he changed his plea and was found guilty on one charge: 2nd Degree Intentional Homicide with Use of a Dangerous Weapon.
Layton was arrested last year after he shot a 60-year-old man in the head while he was driving on I-41 in Ashwaubenon.
The vehicle then crashed, and Layton was later found in the ditch with a rifle nearby.
A handgun was also found in the vehicle at the victim’s feet.
Layton is due back in court on January 5th for his sentencing.
