The City of Sheboygan will soon begin its fall leaf collection operations.
The Department of Public Works has announced that the collection will begin on Monday, October 12th, and run through November 26th.
During that time, residents will be allowed to rake or pile the leaves from their yard onto the street gutter for faster pickup by City crews.
A different section of the city will be picked up each day of each week, starting with the southern portion on Mondays.
The Department will make every effort to remove leaves from the entire zone that day, but when leaf fall is heavy, it is possible that the collection crews may need to finish the zone the following day.
