Two Milwaukee police officers and two civilians are recovering following an early morning multi-vehicle crash at a dark intersection in the city.
Investigators say a car collided with a bus at 35th and Center streets yesterday, causing the bus to strike a parked squad car with its emergency lights on before landing in a ditch.
Authorities note the intersection’s traffic signals were entirely out of service after being vandalized earlier in the day.
Both officers, along with the driver of the car and a bus passenger, were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
