Two people in Rusk County are facing cruelty charges after a number of dead cats were found inside their home.
Police say the discovery was made at the Ladysmith home of Mary and Steven Prior.
Four deceased cats, one live cat, and nine dogs were found inside the residence that authorities say was filled with animal waste and garbage.
The surviving animals are all receiving care.
Police are searching for the suspects.
