The Manitowoc ice cream maker submitted multiple flavors to the Wisconsin Dairy Products Association’s 2027 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest, and one of them was recognized with first-place honors.
In the Open Class with Fruit Ice Cream category, Cedar Crest’s Black Raspberry Flavored Ice Cream with Chocolate Chips, known as Black Raspberry Chip, earned the top honor with a composite score of 99.85.
Earning the overall Ice Cream Grand Champion honor was Yippee Skippee by Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Company out of Madison.
