Manitowoc Police are asking for the public’s help after a hit-and-run at the Manitowoc Public Library.
The department says the crash happened last Saturday (September 26th) at about 8:30 a.m. in the library’s parking lot when two vehicles were backing up and hit each other.
One of the vehicles fled the scene.
Several people saw the crash happen, including a female witness who had a digital photograph of the incident and showed the victim vehicle operator and helped identify the license plate of the vehicle that left.
Unfortunately, the victim did not get the witness’s contact information or a copy of the photograph.
Manitowoc Police Officer St. Pierre would like to talk with the witness and get the digital image.
