Maintenance work will be disrupting traffic in Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties this week.
In Manitowoc County, Department of Transportation crews will be performing routine bridge inspections in the southbound lane of Interstate 43 at Westview Road until Friday (October 2nd) at 5:00 p.m.
They will also be completing pavement repairs in both lanes of I-43 throughout the entire county through Thursday (October 1st) at 4:00 p.m., with lane closures for both projects.
In Sheboygan County, the DOT will also be making pavement repairs to I-43 between Wilson Lima Road and State Highway 28 through Thursday.
Meanwhile, sign installations will be done in the eastbound lane of State Highway 23 between County Road Y and I-43 throughout the week.
Finally, DOT maintenance crews will also be filling cracks in the east and westbound lanes of 23 between County Road P and Plank Road until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday as well. Various lane closures will also be utilized for the work expected in Sheboygan as well and motorists are asked plan accordingly.
