The John Michael Kohler Arts Center and Art Preserve is bringing a nature-themed residency to Sheboygan.
The residency, Rhythm in Nature, will feature Susie Ibarra, who is a Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and sound artist.
Rhythm in Nature will be at the JMKAC and the Art Preserve from October 5th through October 11th, and will explore the natural rhythms and soundscapes of Sheboygan.
These topics will be explored through workshops, field recordings, listening exercises, and collaborative composition.
This will all come together in a one-time performance on October 8th.
