A Sheboygan man is heading to prison in a federal child pornography case.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Eastern District of Wisconsin has announced that 32-year-old Nolan M. Pitsch was sentenced to six years behind bars in federal prison after being found guilty of Receipt of Child Pornography.
In addition to prison time, Pitsch will also serve five years on supervised release and will be required to register as a sex offender for life.
It was determined that the 32-year-old met numerous children online via social media such as TikTok and Snapchat while posing as a 14- or 15-year-old child.
He would then convince multiple girls between the ages of 11 and 15 to send him sexually explicit images of themselves and even threatened to expose the images of one victim if she stopped sending them.
During his sentencing, Chief Judge Pamela Pepper described his crimes as “extremely heinous,” noting the hurt he caused real children will last a lifetime.
Meanwhile, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Special Agent in Charge Matthew Scarpino added, “HSI and our law enforcement partners will relentlessly pursue predators who exploit children online and ensure they are held accountable for the lasting harm they cause.”
This case was investigated by the Sheboygan Police Department and HSI.
