An educator in Sheboygan Falls has been honored for her work with students.
Last week, the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce held its annual Workforce Development Symposium, bringing together business owners, executives, and HR Professionals, as well as K-12 administrators, educators, counselors, and more.
At the event, Sheboygan Falls School District Counselor Janis Jarosch was named the winner of the 2026 Golden Apple Business Educator of the Year Award.
Jarosch’s fellow nominees in the running for the award included Alexis Foerster of Jackson Elementary, Katie Loest from Sheboygan North, Keri Lauritsen of Oostburg, and Heather Gehri of Sheboygan Falls.
Meanwhile, Sargento received the 2026 Golden Apple Business Education Partner Award, beating out Johnsonville and The Production Farm.
