The year’s single biggest day of volunteering in Sheboygan County is set for this week.
The United Way of Sheboygan County’s Day of Caring will be held tomorrow (September 24th), bringing together hundreds of volunteers, nonprofits, and community organizations to make a lasting impact.
On Day of Caring each year, the United Way connects these volunteers with meaningful service projects looking to improve parks, schools, neighborhoods, and more.
Regarding the annual event, United Way added, “Whether you’re an individual looking for volunteer opportunities in Sheboygan or a company seeking a team-building volunteer experience, Day of Caring is your chance to give back, care for our neighbors, and be a part of creating lasting change in our community.”
Following the volunteering work, 3 Sheeps Brewing will host the Day of Caring after-party, where those who volunteered will receive a free drink, and $1 for every pint sold will go back to the United Way to support its critical community programs.
