Lighting projects for two new subdivisions in Manitowoc have been approved.
The ornamental lighting systems will be installed in the Deerbrook subdivision, being built off Kellner Street, and the Mariners Lux subdivision on the site of the former Lakeshore and Mid-Cities malls.
A third resolution will also place streetlights in the Abbey Ridge subdivision near N. 18th Street. City expenses are expected to go up by about $414 for all the projects.
The Deerbrook and Kellner Subdivision is being built around Kellner Street and Homestead Road, behind Vinton Construction, and would include an extension of Homestead Road and Deerbrook Lane.
The Mariners Lux subdivision project will include 41 lots for homes.
