Two people were injured after a crash in Kewaunee County involving a semi hauling manure.
Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski tells SeehaferNews.com that his department was called to the intersection of Highways C and K in the Town of Casco at 2:15 Tuesday afternoon (September 22nd) on a report of a collision between a passenger truck and a semi.
Investigators determined an 80-year-old man was driving west on Highway K in his truck when he failed to stop at a stop sign, colliding with the semi, which was traveling south on Highway C.
The semi, which was being driven by a 25-year-old Green Bay man, overturned into the adjacent ditch, while the truck driver was ejected.
Both men were taken to medical facilities in Green Bay with unknown injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department, with the assistance of the Wisconsin State Patrol.
