Health officials are reporting Chippewa County’s first confirmed case of measles.
The Chippewa County Department of Public Health says it is working with the patient and their doctors to learn if anyone else may have been exposed.
A spokesperson for the department says that measles is highly contagious and so confirming a case in the community is concerning.
