A global leader in cheese production in Sheboygan County has made significant changes to its leadership team.
Sargento has announced that four new vice presidents have been appointed across the cheese producer’s manufacturing, innovation, food safety, and sourcing teams to “support long-term growth.”
Sargento has confirmed that long-time VP of Innovation, Rod Hogan, will be retiring in early 2027 and will be succeeded by current Vice President of New Platform Development, Holly Baumgart.
Meanwhile, Tim Finnerty will direct Sargento’s food safety and quality assurance strategy as the company’s new Vice President of Food Safety and Quality.
Steve Cahoon has also accepted the role of Vice President of Strategic Sourcing after many years serving as the Vice President of Manufacturing.
Finally, Jack Lindsay will lead operations across Sargento’s manufacturing network, succeeding Cahoon as Sargento Vice President of Manufacturing.
On the appointees, Sargento COO Michael Pellegrino noted, “Sargento continues to set the standard for quality and innovation in the CPG industry. We look forward to adding their knowledge and expertise as we write the next chapter of Sargento.”
