The City of Two Rivers is inviting the public to help create a new pollinator garden.
Volunteers are being asked to join the Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department this Saturday (September 26th) from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the 17th Street side of the Two Rivers Senior Center.
A donation from the Xerces Society Wisconsin Pollinator Habitat Kit Program allows the city to plant native plants that will create a habitat for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators while adding a new natural area to the Community House grounds.
Volunteers will bring work gloves, a garden trowel or small shovel, and water.
No special gardening experience is needed, but registration is recommended.
