One of the busiest parks in Sheboygan has closed.
The Sheboygan Department of Public Works has announced that Evergreen Park is officially closed for the season.
This early closure this year will allow city crews to perform necessary road repairs at the park.
Regarding the closure, the DPW added, “For the safety of the pedestrians and the operators of the equipment, the park will remain closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic until October 9th, 2026.”
While currently closed, Evergreen Park will reopen from November 27th through December 31st for the Making Spirits Bright holiday lights event.
