The Manitowoc Lincoln Cross Country team is back home after a successful trip to Gurnee, Illinois, over the weekend.
The girls’ team fared very well, placing second among the 19-team field, with only Park Ridge boasting a better score.
Natalie Portman led the way for the Ships, with her 19:03 time in the 3-mile race good for 4th.
She was joined on the podium by Norah Free, who finished 9th.
Meanwhile, the boys were 17th out of 23 schools, paced by Reid Stryzewski’s 31st-place finish.
