The City of Manitowoc is considering several lighting installation projects.
During the Common Council meeting this evening, the Council will be reviewing two resolutions for the installation of ornamental lighting systems in the River Point District.
The first is for six “Double Acorn, ornamental LED street light standards” in a section of North 11th Street, and the other is for an additional 17 to be installed along a future section of Chicago Street.
The Council is also set to discuss the installation of nine “Coach, ornamental LED street light standards” along three other roadways.
The first is in the Deerbrook Crossing Subdivision development on the north side of the city near Kellner Street, the second is for the Mariner Lux Subdivision, which is being built at the former Mirro property, and the last three would be installed in the Abbey Ridge Subdivision, located along North 18th Street.
The resolutions for all five projects will be voted on tonight (September 21st) during the meeting, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
