It’s been one year since a new rehab hospital opened on the lakeshore.
ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital in Cleveland celebrated that milestone over the weekend with an event held with the Cleveland Lions.
Since opening, the hospital has seen leadership changes.
New CEO Brittani Coffey says their focus remains on caring for patients, with the main goal of getting them home.
They are also still looking to hire some of the bigger staffing positions, including a director of nursing and a full-time physical therapist.
Coffey also tells Seehafernews.com that ClearSky is looking to expand the number of patients it can take, which is currently 36.
The hospital helps those living with disabling injuries or illnesses like strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or other medically complex conditions.
