Sheboygan County is seeking submissions for an annual, conservation-based contest.
The Sheboygan County Planning and Conservation Department has officially opened its 2026-2027 Conservation Poster Contest.
Through the annual competition, students from kindergarten through seniors in high school will submit an original poster showcasing their creativity, based around this year’s central theme: From Source to Sea.
The contest will have five grade divisions: K through 1st grade, 2nd and 3rd grade, 4th through 6th grade, 7th through 9th grade, and finally sophomores through seniors.
Winners in each division will then advance to the area contest between Sheboygan County and eight neighboring counties.
Then, those winners will advance to the state and potentially the national Conservation Poster Contest as well.
Submissions are due by December 11th and can be dropped off at the Planning and Conservation Department Office at 508 New York Avenue in Sheboygan.
